1 Year Contract Lab Techician

Job Description & Responsibilities:

1. Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates and finished products using state-of-the-art Lab instruments like XRF, GC-FID, ICP etc
2. Prepare and standardize all necessary reagents in accordance with specified methods
3. Ensure product identification, results, status and traceability is maintained within the Lab Information Management System Database (LIMS)
4. Maintain and upkeep Lab instruments and workstation
5. Any other duties & responsibilities which the supervisor may assign from time to time

Job Qualifications:

1. Nitec / Higher Nitec in Chemical Process Technology or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
2. Some working experience in a petrochemical plant is an advantage, for candidates without relevant academic background

Work location:

1. Jurong Island

Working hours:

1. 12-hour shift
2. 8am to 8pm or 8pm or 8am
3. Most of the time will be day shift.

Contract Duration:

1. 1 Year
