WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Director, Product Enablement reports functionally into one of our product pillars (either Insights & Planning, Activation, or Reporting & Analytics) where enablement is led by the SVP, Product Enablement.
You will work with the Regional Product Lead and regional Data Strategy teams who are responsible for fostering strong customer connections and driving adoption of Open Media Studio (OMS) and our products across our markets, clients, and agency teams.
You will partner with these teams to maximize product usage and value realization for the products within your product pillar and region.
You are:
- A technical consultant capable of not just configuring and deploying products but consulting with users along the way ensuring they are clear and fully enabled to make the most out of the products and capabilities.
- An expert in the technology stack, tools and solutions within one of our product pillars (Insights & Planning, Activation, Reporting & Analytics) and typical client use cases and requirements.
A proven product enablement specialist with experience managing deployment of technology into highly matrixed, multi-geographical teams. - A partner to our Data Strategy team, working with them to drive their adoption strategies for Open Media Studio and ensure the product within your pillar are well adopted and successful once in use by our clients and staff.
- Focused on achieving efficiency and effectiveness through applying best practises and processes for deployment. Extremely collaborative and communicative – sharing challenges and ideas for improving processes regularly.
- You have exceptional attention to detail. Being able to capture and feedback requirements to teams in a clear and concise manner.
- An excellent listener who can balance multiple perspectives on opportunities, challenges and requirements and translate into action.
- Knowledgeable about all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Platform Deployment
- Oversee the end-to-end deployment of products within your pillar and region, and the OMS platform, ensuring successful implementation and client satisfaction.
- This includes planning, coordinating, and executing the deployment within your region. Deployment involves installing, configuring, and implementing products and the OMS platform.
- Define deployment goals, timelines and potential risks.
- Configure the products and/or OMS platform according to the specific requirements of the deployment environment. This may involve setting up user accounts, defining permissions, customizing settings, data staging and analysis, preparation and integrating with other systems.
- Testing to ensure that the product functions correctly and meets quality standards in the deployed state.
- In conjunction with Product Training and Product Support ensure that users are fully enabled and trained ready to drive quality outcomes from our stack.
- Implement the product in a thoughtful and user centric manner. This may involve deploying updates or new features gradually to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth transition.
- Monitor the deployed product to identify any issues or performance problems.
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement for future deployments.
- Work closely with our product measurement, regional product and data strategy teams to ensure that we are collectively tracking appropriate product adoption metrics. Derive actionable insights from usage metrics that you can use can drive improvements in our products and processes in service of driving product usage and adoption in practitioner user bases.
In conjunction with that you will play a regional role supporting your SVP, Product Enablement playing an active role across the following areas:
- Product Advocacy: Champion the voice of our users and customers throughout the product lifecycle via close collaboration with our regional product communities and Regional Product and Data Strategy (client) teams. Foster strong relationships and ensure product strategy and development aligns with user and client needs.
- Enablement & Training: Working with the SVP, Product Enablement, input and suggest improvements for your product areas into the creation of impactful training programs, supporting materials, and communication strategies to equip users with the knowledge and skills to leverage product capabilities effectively. As needed deliver local technical product training for users in conjunction with or support of our training teams.
- Partnership & Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with stakeholders and user communities across the organization, including power users and stakeholders. Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure a unified approach to product adoption.
- Communication & Influence: Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate product value propositions, user benefits, and deployment strategies to diverse audiences.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proven experience in a platform, product or technology service deployment or enablement role.
- Depth of knowledge of media planning and buying landscape. Desirable to have a good depth of knowledge of agency ways of working and clients.
- Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and deployment processes.
- Experience in creating and improving deployment best practices.
- Ability to communicate with and understand cross-functional, highly matrixed, multi-geographical teams.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration, consensus, and relationship building.
- Exceptional resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment.
- A strong and flexible work ethic; able to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and deliver results.
