The responsibilities includes the following:
· Design and Implementation
o Collaborate with stakeholders to design, plan, and implement VMware virtualization solutions based on business requirements.
o Deploy and configure VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and associated components.
· Performance Optimization
o Monitor and optimize the performance of virtualized environments to ensure efficient resource utilization.
o Implement best practices for virtual machine performance tuning and optimization.
· Infrastructure Maintenance
o Conduct regular updates, patches, and upgrades to VMware software and related components.
o Perform routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the health and reliability of the virtualized infrastructure.
· Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
o Diagnose and resolve issues related to virtualization technologies promptly.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
· Security and Compliance
o Implement and enforce security measures to protect virtualized environments from potential threats.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.
· Documentation
o Maintain comprehensive documentation of VMware infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
o Develop and update standard operating procedures for virtualization-related tasks.
· Capacity Planning
o Conduct capacity planning assessments to anticipate future resource requirements.
o Propose and implement scalability solutions based on business growth.
· Collaboration and Training
o Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
o Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff on VMware best practices and usage.
(a) Education Qualification
1. Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT related discipline
(b) Relevant Experience
1. Possess relevant VMware Administration experience
2. Relevant IT certification such as VMware Certified Professional or similar is preferred
3. Possess Strong knowledge of IT systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
4. Experience with the following technologies will be advantage:
a. Virtualization technologies - VMware Exsi, VCF , vRealize/Aria and NSX-T
b. Monitoring Tool: Cisco Solarwind Server and Application monitor
c. Familiarity with VxRail hardware platform

· Able to communicate clearly both verbally and written in English
· Willing to engage directly with business users on their IT systems infrastructure requirements
· Able to work with support teams from IT suppliers to resolve technical issues.
· Must be a team player willing to help their peers to deliver team goals together.
· Capable of preparing internal training materials and documentation.
· Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
· Positive, self-motivated, resourceful individual who can complete tasks independently
· Willing to stretch and learn other skillsets such as Linux for systems that the team may be supporting
· Willing to travel down to data centers and endpoint deployment sites when needed to support troubleshooting and remediation of issues, there will not be additional charges to PSA for such travel.
