- Support the Chief Data Officer (CDO) / Data Protection Officer (DPO) in handling of data sharing request in accordance with AIC’s Data Sharing Framework
- To manage and ensure continued relevance and application of the AIC Information Management Policy across division’s processes
- To manage and review data protection compliance related aspects throughout the organisation, with an emphasis on compliance by AIC’s partners. (includes engaging and developing suitable data sharing agreements with partners, doing process reviews…etc)
- Support and manage internal divisions and AIC’s partners in their journey towards continued improvements for an enhanced governance process in managing classified information and personal identifiable data. Responsibilities include:Developing and executing a standardised approach for data governance compliance
Conduct reviews and periodic audits to ensure continued adherence with Data Protection approaches
Develop materials to support communication efforts and creation of awareness
Job Requirements:
- Degree (Information Science / Business Management)
- Minimally 5 years of experience handling information management and governance aspects
- Familiarity with the Government Instruction Manual (data management chapters) OR the Personal Data Protection Act (2012) and experienced in working within a Chief Data Officer (CDO) / Data Protection Officer (DPO) or similar would be beneficial
- Involvement in data management initiatives such as managing the collection, user and disposal of data through detailed Data Inventory Maps and processes to review data protection measures for the organization
- Process thinking; and Workflow approach would be beneficial
