How will you make an impact in this role?
The core responsibilities of this role are:
- Developing sound sales strategies positioning American Express’ best-in-class commercial products and solutions to the target customers
- Work closely with the leader to create winning strategies to achieve enterprise goals
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and exceed those goals throughout the strategies
- Support execution of American Express strategy in alignment with overall market growth objectives
- Create and execute a sales pipeline with self-generated and referral leads and opportunities with focus on profitable segments within travel & entertainment and goods & services.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial sales or account development is required
- Ability to collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders through excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Dynamic personality able to effectively engage a variety of audiences at large local enterprises and MNCs
- Strong Knowledge of travel & entertainment landscape in Singapore and financial acumen (financial statement analysis, cash flow)
- Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
- To be successful in this role, you must be a driven, self-motivated individual
- Fluent spoken and written English
