Job Overview
We are seeking a results-oriented and seasoned General Manager to drive our Group’s growth objectives in Singapore. Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager will oversee all aspects of the coffee business in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Steer the organization towards its strategic goals, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining financial health, and foster a positive culture.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and create plans to penetrate and grow market share.
- Perform market analysis and stay informed about industry trends to guide strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Team and CEO to develop and implement effective sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns.
- Lead the sales team to drive revenue growth and enhance market presence.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and expense control measures to ensure the profitability of the coffee business.
- Oversee day-to-day business operations, including sales, logistics, distribution, aftersales, and quality control.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to support the professional growth and development of team members.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, motivation, and professional development.
Key Requirements
- Bachlor’s degree equivalent in business or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the coffee industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of coffee market and business intelligence for informed decision-making.
- Proactive problem solver, capable of analyzing issues, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate and manage team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and data analysis.
