Job Purpose:
The Relationship Manager in Priority Banking is responsible for delivering personalized financial solutions and services to high-net-worth clients within the Priority Banking segment. They play a pivotal role in understanding clients' financial needs, providing expert financial advice, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The primary objectives are to acquire, grow, and retain Priority Banking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with Priority Banking clients.
- Gain a deep understanding of clients' financial goals, preferences, and risk tolerance.
- Regularly engage with clients to provide updates on their portfolios and address inquiries or concerns.
Financial Advisory:
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments for Priority Banking clients.
- Recommend tailored wealth management solutions and investment strategies aligned with clients' objectives.
- Stay informed about financial market trends and products to provide expert advice.
Client Acquisition:
- Identify and prospect high-net-worth individuals and businesses for Priority Banking services.
- Present the value proposition and benefits of Priority Banking to potential clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new Priority Banking clients.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and actively manage the investment portfolios of Priority Banking clients.
- Implement asset allocation and investment strategies based on market conditions and clients' goals.
- Ensure portfolio diversification and risk management.
Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Follow anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) procedures.
- Report any suspicious activities as mandated by regulatory authorities.
Client Retention:
- Develop and execute strategies to retain and deepen relationships with existing Priority Banking clients.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling financial products and services.
Performance Metrics:
- Meet or exceed client acquisition and revenue targets.
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Relevant financial certifications or licenses
- Proven experience as a Relationship Manager in Priority Banking or private banking.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management, financial markets, and investment products.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
