Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on Data Analytics and Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of data analytics, cloud technologies, and a proven track record of driving sales within the IT industry. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and customer-focused problem-solving to help businesses unlock the value of their data and optimize their cloud strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target new business opportunities for data analytics and cloud solutions across various industries.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target companies.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and tailor solutions to their business needs.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs related to revenue, pipeline, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Solution Selling:
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of data analytics platforms, cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and related services.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their IT challenges and offer tailored cloud and analytics solutions that drive business outcomes.
    • Present compelling value propositions through product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations.
    • Collaborate with internal technical teams to design custom solutions and provide technical expertise during the sales process.
  3. Account Management:
    • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize customer retention and identify cross-selling/up-selling opportunities.
    • Provide post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and encourage future engagement.
    • Track and manage sales pipeline through CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  4. Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with marketing, product management, and technical teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market trends.
    • Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and technical experts to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  5. Industry Knowledge and Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends, products, and technologies in data analytics and cloud services.
    • Attend industry events, conferences, and training to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proven experience in IT sales, specifically in data analytics and cloud services.
  • Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Big Data, AI/ML).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and close complex sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling to enterprise-level customers.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, and advanced analytics.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
