As part of the Global Marketing Strategy function, you’ll be responsible for providing the Marketing team with actionable data and insight to drive better customer engagement, and better decision making. You will partner with the Airwallex Data Science team to lead the development of all Marketing reporting and dashboarding, and you will be responsible for deep-dive analysis of our customer and Marketing data. You’ll stay on top of market trends and performance metrics to support the development and optimisation of Marketing strategies. You’re naturally curious and have a track record of offering recommendations to help enhance our brand presence and drive business growth.
You’ll join the Airwallex Marketing team during a critical period. Following rapid growth, we are building a team that enables both global consistency in process, tooling and methodology and local flexibility and speed in execution. This is a great opportunity to join that team and help shape the next phase of Airwallex’s growth.
You Will:
- Understand business priorities, analyse large data sets for patterns and trends, visualise results in dashboards and presentations, including analysis in marketing MBRs/QBRs.
- Analyse data from various sources (e.g. CRM, Google Analytics, social media) to assess performance and ROI.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.
- Support marketing stakeholders on campaign measurement, including channel- and engagement-specific reporting.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to identify opportunities for improvement in Marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Be a business partner for Data Science and RevOps teams, serving as the subject matter expert for all Marketing KPIs, and helping consult on all data-related projects.
- Assist in the development of Marketing forecasts and budgets based on data analysis.
- Support A/B testing and other experimental designs to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, etc).
- Expertise with querying languages, data schemas, and BI tools (SQL, Looker, etc).
- Knowledge of visualisation tools such (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc).
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
It’s great if you have:
- Knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Marketo, and Salesforce.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
