Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to improve our online and offline marketing effectiveness to support business and sales goals. The role will develop and lead all aspects of planning and implementation of marketing strategies cross-divisionally to deliver key performance indicators as well as to facilitate data-driven business decisions. You will collaborate with the larger organization and work with teams across the organization to ensure a strategic and coordinated marketing approach so as to drive customer engagement and improve brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategy to cultivate & engage with potential customers. Includes content & journey mapping based on the customer journeys & touchpoints ie. offline, online & social.
- Collaborate with business divisions (commercial, cross-function teams) to consolidate workflow to drive ONE Thermo Fisher approach based on sector opportunities.
- Ensure that leads acquisition and conversion is aligned with the overall lead generation strategy in the respective programmes & channels.
- Lead, plan and implement key corporate and division events in Southeast Asia & Taiwan
- Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, insight driven analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends on a regular basis to translate results into useful insights for marketing team. Build dashboard to track and report progress and execution.
- Drive data insights for sales force excellence, adjacent business opportunities, and BU cross-targeting for business growth.
- Drive an integrated marketing approach to deliver the desired Thermo Fisher branding and ensure that divisions' business targets are delivered via the aligned programs, campaigns, and events.
- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget.
- Conduct regional VOC directly or in collaboration with other Marketing teams to assess the impact of product positioning, brand equity, customer satisfaction and marketing efficiency.
- Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis.
- Lead marketing & operations to ensure the marketing programmes and campaigns support sector opportunities and deliver business targets and growth.
- Leads all aspects of agency and vendor relationships and contracts.
- Stay current on emerging industry and marketing trends.
Education
- A degree in Business, Marketing or similar degree, or equivalent experience
- BA/BS degree, Master’s degree preferred
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years of managerial experience
- Strategic, data-driven, sales-aligned and customer-focused with a proven track record to be a great teammate and to collaborate effectively across functions
- Demonstrated strength in building strategic relationship and leading through collaborative influence
- Track record of operational excellence, creativity, and using analytics to get results
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (listening, verbal and written) and the ability to effectively translate data insights and technical information to communicate with internal customers and all levels of management to support decision-making, gain consensus and set expectations
- Experienced in building marketing strategy for developing and developing markets in scientific supply industry
- Digital technology expertise to drive SEO/SEM and omnichannel marketing campaigns
- Content architecture knowledge
- Agency experience and / or experience managing agencies and vendor relationships
