Job Scope:
This position is part of the academic arm within the Undergraduate Programmes Office, performing the critical function of supporting student professional exposure in the industry and exchange to partner universities.
Job Responsibilities:
Professional Exposure Programmes
· Manage industry exposure programmes such as Professional Attachment (PA), Experiential Semester Programme (ESP), Work Study Degree Programme (WSDeg), and Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme (OEP)
· Liaise with faculty and other departments to support students in credit-bearing internships and professional exposure programmes.
· Coordinate with divisions on allocation of internship supervisors.
· Coordinate with supervisors on marks entry and submission.
· Prepare periodic reports for management and government agencies.
Student Exchange Programmes
· Work with Office of Global Education and Mobility (OGEM) on exchange numbers, nomination, and placement.
· Liaise with Divisions to evaluate course matching requests.
· Update outcome of mapping requests in master list.
· Process credits transfer.
· Manage course requests, registration and appeals of inbound students.
Business Streaming
· Liaise with internal stakeholders to work out streaming arrangement (specialisation capacity and system setup)
· Provide streaming updates and reports to management
· Perform allocation, manage appeals, and process changes.
Student Administration
· Short and Semester Leave of Absence
· Candidature matters, Re-admission, withdrawal and termination
· Credit Transfer
Job Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
· Prior experience in a relevant administrative role in an institution of higher learning will be advantageous.
· Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible in adjusting and responding to changing priorities.
· Ability to work independently and as a team, personal initiative, and team spirit in the effective implementation of projects.
· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, multi-task and deliver with quality and timeliness.
· Organised and meticulous with an eye for details.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
