We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the construction of a large lab and control building. This role involves managing complex projects with significant oversight of construction processes, contractor relationships, and vendor coordination. The project consists of three separate jobs, with new buildings fabricated in the Middle East and shipped to Jurong Island.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight: Lead the overall project execution from foundation and steel structure through to final commissioning, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between our client and all contractors and vendors, facilitating communication and resolving any issues that arise.
Contractor Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of multiple contractors, ensuring that all project milestones are met while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor relationships for materials and services, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project timelines and budgets.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and tracking expenses against the budget.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required specifications and standards.
Reporting: Provide regular updates to client and other stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
