Job description
- Handle day-to-day operational functions for an International School.
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors and provide information to parents and students
- Review all applications to ensure students meet the school’s requirements in terms of academic qualification and other eligibilities.
- Ensure that all students have the right and legal resident pass or visa to stay and study in Singapore.
- Ensuring all stages of the admissions process are handled professionally and with immediate attention.
- Be the first point of contact for all prospecting parent’s enquiries.
- Support and assist parents or guardians of students throughout the admissions process to ensure a very smooth and pleasant experience is delivered.
- Qualifying leads and maintaining an organised record of all enquiries and responses.
- Assist the academic team in attending to students' matters as and when required.
- Organise and support the school open house and other school events.
- To maintain professionalism and respectful behaviour towards students, colleagues, and all stakeholders at all times.
- School bus arrangement and managing bus logistics with an appointed bus provider.
- School Uniform distribution and stock taking.
- Student supervision duties such as oversight of students at recess and playtime.
- General purchasing duties such as stationery ordering and stock management.
- Liaise with contractors for any installation work.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters).
- School bus arrangement and management and managing bus logistics with an appointed bus provider.
- Liaise and establish positive relationships with various stakeholders and parents.
- Responsible for administering basic first aid to students and informing parents of student illness at school.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Head of School and management.
Requirements:
- Diploma
- Good command of English is required as the need to communicate with expatriate parents of students.
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player, multitasking and able to work independently.
- Having the ability to access and handle challenging situations.
- Have at least 1-2 years of working experience in Admissions and Administration within an international school
