Job Description:
- Overseeing a construction project and monitoring operations at the worksite.
- Managing construction crews, including hiring new crew members, tracking performance, and recommending improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Developing contracts, liaising with subcontractors and vendors, and performing other administrative tasks.
- Evaluating blueprints and schematics to determine daily work activities.
- Overseeing contractors and subcontractors throughout all stages of site preparation and build-out.
- Conducting daily inspections for compliance and site safety.
- Liaising with local agencies on permitting and regulations.
- Creating an efficient and safe workplace, including materials and personnel.
Requirements:
- Able to understand construction drawings.
- Minimum 2 years physical work experience in construction industry.
- Able to manage and supervise of general construction workers.
- Able to tabulate, calculate and control wastage of materials.
- Able to perform shift work when required.
- Mantality to work Sunday and Public holiday.
