Responsibilities:
- Handle operating issues, repairing and modifying of cutter suction dredger
- Liaise and coordinate with various stakeholders, Master(s) of Vessel and OEM Vendor(s) on the repair and maintenance schedule to meet the demands of the operations
- Prepare docking requirements and specifications proposal
- Plan the maintenance schedule based on Vessel Class and statutory requirements
- Check and ensure the level and condition of the spare parts inventory are adequate to support the repair and maintenance schedule
- Able to troubleshoot and support operation of dredger on site
- Plan the maintenance schedule based on Vessel Class and statutory requirements Supervise vessel maintenance and management of scheduled
- To be managed maintenance cost saves
- Make a list of current problems and actions to resolve them and report to management
- To be assist to project for dredging work and communicate work priorities to subordinates and reporting to management
- Spare parts management and operation and maintenance planning using AMOS system
Requirements:
- Candidate should possess at least a Degree in Marine Engineering or related disciplines from a recognized University
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in dredgers and barges owning companies
- Well-versed in dredgers operation and maintenance requirements
- Must have proven track record or experience handling work vessels (TSHD, CSD, or any other work vessels)
- Familiar in AutoCAD, MS Excel and Word
- Familiar with AMOS system
- Familiar with troubleshooting and finding the root cause with the ship’s crew on board
- Good understanding in mechanical drawings and hydraulic diagrams
- Able to travel overseas (Bangladesh, Middle East etc)
