Roles & Responsibilities
The Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore (IPAS) is the premier professional body for insolvency professionals in Singapore. To that end, we set standards for the insolvency profession through academic and continuing professional development programmes. We further seek to advance the status and interest of insolvency professionals through engagement and interactions with regulators, judges from the insolvency docket and other professional organizations. We also strive to build and foster a strong community of practitioners through both formal and informal networking opportunities.
The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager will work with the Executive Director (ED) and team to grow and manage IPAS. Pending establishment of a permanent office, this position will work from home except where your physical attendance is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist the ED in planning courses, events, and other activities.
• Support the administration and marketing of courses and events including creating EDMs, posting on LinkedIn and updating website.
• Attend to enquiries from members and the public on membership, courses, and events.
• Support the organization of special events including the annual conference.
• Provide general administrative support including liaising/following up with stakeholders & partners to facilitate meetings, payments, or project updates; procurement of new products or services; hiring/on-boarding of new staff.
• Provide general IT support including liaising with external vendor to manage IT-related service requests and subscriptions.
Profile/Requirements
• Pro-active, self-motivated, conscientious and a team player who can work with minimum supervision.
• Good time management. Able to multi-task and deliver assigned tasks within timelines.
• Meticulous and strong attention to details.
• Articulate and possesses excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills.
• Good project management skills. Ability to follow through on implementation of decisions.
• Resourceful mindset. Takes initiative to resolve issues in the first instance.
• Prior experience in organizing events and managing social media/websites will be considered favourably.
• Able to occasionally work during non-office hours and weekends (as required).
Qualifications/Experience
• Diploma or Degree
• 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in using MS Office suite of applications
• Some knowledge of social media/website management/CANVA preferred
