Accounts Assistant (1 year contract)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry tasks
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Handle payroll processing and related queries
  • Assist in preparing financial documents for audits and tax filings
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in an accounting role (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB) and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and regulations
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
