Zscaler Senior Technical Analyst
Position Overview: We are looking for a Zscaler Senior Technical Analyst with 6-8 years of experience in solutioning, deploying, and supporting Zscaler security solutions, particularly in a banking or financial services environment. The role involves implementing secure internet access and zero-trust network architectures using Zscaler’s suite of solutions, including ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the solution design and implementation of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) to provide secure internet and application access in line with banking security requirements.
- Design and implement Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) using Zscaler, ensuring robust security for remote and on-premises users.
- Configure and optimize Zscaler services to protect users, devices, and applications from internet-based threats while ensuring seamless access to cloud and on-prem resources.
- Manage secure web gateways, DNS security, SSL inspection, and data loss prevention policies to prevent data breaches and secure internet traffic.
- Collaborate with network and security teams to implement secure internet breakouts, ensuring high performance and security across multiple branches or locations.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Zscaler deployments and integrations with existing infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize Zscaler performance and security policies, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and best practices for data protection.
- Manage and support policy enforcement, logging, and reporting for internet access control, including integration with SIEM platforms for threat detection and response.
- Act as a key liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful Zscaler implementation and alignment with business needs.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in solutioning and implementing Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA), preferably in a banking or highly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architectures, secure internet breakouts, and cloud security practices.
- Proficiency in SSL inspection, web filtering, DNS security, and data loss prevention (DLP) configurations.
- Experience integrating Zscaler with existing security frameworks and monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM).
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Zscaler performance and connectivity issues.
- Strong knowledge of security and compliance requirements in the banking sector, including encryption and data protection policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or similar certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience working in banking or financial services is highly desirable.
