Responsibilities
· Perform administration function on Control-M Server, Enterprise Manager, Control-M agent and Control Module
· Proactive monitoring to ensure continuous and high availability of Control-M service and processes.
· Perform investigation and troubleshoot Control-M related issues to release immediate workaround and permanent fixes.
· Perform Control-M version upgrade and apply fix-pack/patch to fix intermediate issues in Control-M.
· Participates in project and initiatives requiring/involving Control Admin Support.
· Provide scripting/programming support to cater automation requirements using Control-M utilities, features and APIs.
· Continually improve the end-to-end Control-M Job scheduling Service by working with vendor, technical support and operation teams (internal and external).
Skills/Requirement
· At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Control-M Administration on Distributed and Mainframe zOS Systems.
· Should be capable of handling installation, upgrading and maintaining Control-M components (EM, Server, Agents) and add-ons like Forecast, Services, BIM, WCM etc.
· Sound knowledge of Control modules/Application plugins (AFT, DB, Java, SAP)
· Good knowledge of AS400 agent installation, troubleshooting and support.
· Hands on experience for end-to-end implementation in Control-M upgrade projects including planning, setup, testing and working with the System/Security Admins and support teams.
· Sound knowledge on Disaster Recovery, High-availability for Application continuity of Control-M.
· Hands on experience on managing Control-M instances on mainframe host is an added advantage
· Possess an in-depth understanding of network and Windows and UNIX platforms, necessary in troubleshooting issues related to Control-M systems.
· Hands on experience in Creating and Debugging shell scripts on Linux, Unix, Solaris systems
