Job Duties
A primary objective will be to work with internal stakeholders to support across business requirements, technology solutioning and review and quality assurance of delivery programs. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hands-on problem solver who is keen to get involved at the early part of an exciting journey for a bank. The role will be involved in some interesting work including innovative prototyping, small projects, and larger programs of work.
Responsibilities
· The role will need a combination of skill sets cutting technical knowledge, techno functional and business analysis, and project management skills.
· Designing functional technology solutions
· Overseeing development and implementation of programs
· Troubleshooting with difficult technical issues and act as a problem solver for delivery tracks.
· Create and assist in presenting IT solutions related point of views to APAC CIO organization.
· Providing technical leadership and support to software development teams
· Understand company needs to define system specifications.
· Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals.
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
· Proficiency with some of the Transaction and Corporate Banking platforms – in areas of Cash Management, Core Banking, Cyber Security, Trade, Digital Channels, Payments, Risk and Compliance, API Microservices, Cloud etc.
· Experienced with deep skills on Transaction Banking - Core Banking projects, Oracle, FIS etc.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT; Masters preferred etc.
· 10+ yearsof relevant experience in banking technology.
· Required project experience in one of the below 3 areas – Core Banking / Host to Host / Regional Integration Hub
· Experience working with global & regional banks, with deep understanding of banking technology architecture and solutions.
· Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Able to demonstrate hands on technology coding experience prior to project management in career.
· Understanding of agile / scrum (preferred with scrum master certifications)
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
· Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; will be required to create presentation decks
