Job description：
- The desired candidate in this position designs develops and tests the optical test equipment and laser process machine.
- Interacts with hardware and software design teams to assist in the overall development of the optical systems and develop new optical alignment technologies for the integrated optical test machine.
- Tasks include designing, specifying, selecting, and qualifying optical components, developing and benchmarking system performance models, developing and implementing test procedures, and evaluating and selecting appropriate test instrumentation and set up the proper system alignment method.
- The applicant will work closely with the systems group to develop the fundamental specifications that will determine final system performance and training the production engineer
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in the field of Laser, Optics, Optical Engineering, Applied physics, Optoelectronic Information Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 2 years and above of work experiences in the following areas:
- Optical Design and Analysis
- Imaging System Design
- Tolerance Analysis
- Optical Metrology
- Using lab graded optical measurement instrument and electronic equipment such as integrating sphere, spectrometer, LED, laser, autocollimator, beam profiler etc.;
- Optical System Build (hands-on)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Desirable additional experience includes:
- Design of semiconductor inspection equipment
- Precision optomechanical assemblies
- Design for Manufacturing
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (Speaking, writing) in order to communicate with every level of staff across department
- Willing to travel overseas as needed
