Responsibilities:
· Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
· Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
· Identify and resolve issues which have organisation wide and long-term impact.
· Identify security risks, creates requirements to capture security issues, and performs initial threat modelling to ensure coding standards meets security requirements.
· Develop and maintain the software configuration management plan and oversees the building, verification, and implementation of software releases.
Provide guidance and technical support to the quality testing teams.
Skills/Requirement:
· Good knowledge in UNIX platform and database management systems (SQL, Oracle, Sybase, Bigdata)
· Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell script, PowerShell, SQL…)
· Experience in DevOps tooling (GIT, Maven/Graven/Nuget/Ansible, Jenkins…
· Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
· Must have Experience in supporting capital market applications and trading systems, ideally within the dynamic landscape of Market Risk/Front Office operations with a commendable grasp of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD, Bonds, RSF etc.)
