Roles & Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining the overall quality of service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage financial aspects of the restaurant effectively.
Job Description:
Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage labor costs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor online reviews and feedback, and implement improvements as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive (10+ years) in international restaurant concepts
- Proven pre-opening experience and knowledge to work seamlessly with the Directors to successfully plan and manage the pre-opening of a new restaurant
- Previous working experience with WILD HONEY - this is critical as our business is highly complex and takes years to master
- Outstanding and proven guest relations abilities
- Able to manage difficult situations in the moment and when they arise
- Outstanding and proven communication skills with excellent English in both verbal and written form
- Operations knowledge and ability to manage the day-to-day functioning of the restaurants
- A high level peerless individual to partner to the Directors to help oversee and manage the operations (see below)
- Detailed working knowledge of REVEL POS System, RESERVATIONS, YIELD MANAGEMENT including menu programming and back-end reports
- Proven ability to manage and meet company goals and financial targets
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings and PH
- Able to build long term relationships with staff and guests and build up a loyal client base
