Your responsibilities
- Directly involves in the Technical meeting with customer, analyze customer inputs and understand the requirements, such as Technical Specification, IO list, etc.
- Raise Technical Queries and clarification to customer.
- Develop drawing/documentation as required for the project; and work together with lead engineer for document submission.
- Together with lead engineer to design and develop ABB 800xA Object Library.
- Develop test plan, procedures and carry out testing
- In the absence of lead engineer, able to take the leadership and ownership
Your background
- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Control system Engineering or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in DCS System design, engineering, installation and commissioning. Experience in ABB 800xA project engineering and commissioning is preferred.
- Good knowledge DCS Control system hardware, power distribution, network connection, IO connection, etc, including cabinet and marshalling design.
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, process and tools; experience in Adaptive methodology (templates and tools) is preferred.
- Knowledge of fieldbus connection such as Modbus, Profinet, OPC, etc.
- Knowledge in PLC system, configuration, administration, engineering, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Knowledge in IT networking, such as IP addressing, router configuration, VLAN setup, firewall settings, etc.
- Basic knowledge on Virtualization & Cyber security preferred
