Job descriptions:
- Reporting to Finance Director, manage and mentor finance team in full spectrum of finance covering group of entities in different jurisdictions
- Primary responsible for day-to-day finance operations of the finance dept, oversee the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records/reporting, controllership, cashflow management, tax, audit and corporate governance
- Support annual budget, periodic forecast, business case budget, dashboard and presentation to Senior stakeholders
- Lead annual audit, ability to resolve audit queries/issues, familiars with FRS, ensure audit closure within timeline
- Review tax computation, periodic tax returns, worked closely with tax agents, support projects for tax compliance/optimization like Transfer pricing, divestment/exit, repatriation of profit, new country entry
- Drive operational efficiency & innovation, responsible for finance transformation include finance system migration, streamline financial processes
- Support FD for project/task assignments include financial modelling, financing
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders/cross- functional teams, ability to advise/resolve business finance issues, risk mitigation, process improvement or changes
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the business sectors, and proactively advise on implications for the businesses
Requirements:
- Well-rounded Finance incumbent with minimum 8 – 10 years relevant experience in end-to-end finance and consolidated financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Multitasking, self-motivated, well-organised, and committed to meeting deadlines
- IT savvy in Microsoft Office Application or finance ERP system
