Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate credit applications and conduct thorough credit analyses to assess the creditworthiness of potential and existing corporate clients.
- Monitor and report on the performance of credit portfolios, identifying any potential risks or issues.
- Conduct risk assessments, including qualitative and quantitative analyses, to inform lending decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, underwriting, and finance, to assess credit risk and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed credit risk reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market conditions, economic trends, and regulatory requirements that impact credit risk.
- Assist in developing and improving credit risk models and methodologies.
- Support the credit risk policy framework by providing input on policy updates and enhancements.
- Participate in special projects as needed, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in credit risk analysis within a wholesale bank.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with credit scoring models and risk assessment processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
