EY AI & Data is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.
We implement information-driven strategies, data platforms and advanced data analytics solution systems that help grow, optimize and protect client organizations. We go beyond strategy and provide end to end design, build and implementation of real life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers and consultants in the region.
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager within the DnA team in our Singapore office. This role is offered on a flexible full time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of a data warehouse or data lake on Singapore's Government Commercial Cloud, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan that encompasses all project activities, from initial conception through to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are aligned with the project objectives and are performing at their best.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including agency officials, cloud service providers, and third-party vendors.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project timeline and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Facilitate the resolution of any technical challenges or bottlenecks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Manage the project budget, including forecasting, allocation of resources, and cost control measures.
- Champion the adoption of project management best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization.
To qualify for the role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT and cloud-based solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data warehouses or data lakes/ data migartion within a Government Cloud environment in Singapore.
- Seasoned expertise in managing large-scale projects using cloud platforms such as GCC and Azure or AWS.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
