Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and support servers or virtual machines (Hyper-V / VMware) running on Windows Server operating systems.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrade, patches and incident resolution outside of working hours when required.
- Monitoring and implementing backup solutions for critical systems and data regularly.
- Implement and maintain IT security measures and best practices for systems and address security incidents with latest security trends.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, ranging from system upgrades to new system deployments.
- Create and update technical documentation pertaining to systems administration for on-premise systems, Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Any related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirement:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or Server Administrator.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtualization, Patch Management, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Possess excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
