Senior Copywriter


We’re looking for an English language Senior Copywriter to join our team to create compelling content across a variety of marketing communications in the Asia Pacific & Japan region. This includes emails, social, ads, direct mail, video and web etc. As a Senior Copywriter, you’re part storyteller, part wordsmith. You’ll join a sociable, dynamic team that delivers high-quality creative and copy in a fast-paced environment. You’ll brainstorm innovative ways to tell our story in our clear, fun and conversational voice. We’re looking for someone with strong writing and conceptual skills, along with a good understanding of technology and marketing best practices. The Senior Copywriter will work within the Creative team and report to the Associate Creative Director for Editorial based in London.

The AP&J and EMEA Creative team consists of multi-disciplinary Copywriters, Designers and Project Managers, based in the UK, Denmark, Spain and Singapore. We work on events, brand, advertising, demand generation, video, digital, print and account-based marketing campaigns – partnering closely with our Marketing stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Associate Creative Director and a team of Copywriters based in London to ensure brand consistency and tone of voice in all assets produced in AP&J.
  • Partner closely with colleagues in the region, including Designers, Marketing Managers, Demand Generation and Events teams, to write targeted web, email, print and social copy for a wide range of marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee and act as an advisor for third-party agencies on all the copy they produce.
  • Understand business trends and issues our audiences face and tailor messaging to different countries, personas and industries – with a particular focus on the local requirements.
  • Act as a brand champion and support stakeholders by providing education, and training where needed, on our brand and editorial guidelines.

Basic qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing copywriting experience, including at least 2 years of enterprise software or related B2B communications.

Other qualifications

  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
  • Native or fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated experience working in long- and short-form formats across mediums.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage projects and deadlines across many different teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strives for excellence and avoids cutting corners.
  • Ability to balance creativity with business needs.
  • Portfolio or recent examples of your work.
