Job Descriptions:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the Petrochemicals Business, aligning with the company's long-term objectives and evolving market trends to drive growth and profitability.
  • Oversee and expand Petrochemicals Trading Businesses across Asia, ensuring sustainable business development and market competitiveness.
  • Identify, pursue, and create new business opportunities to promote carbon neutrality and sustainability within the petrochemicals industry, contributing to the company’s environmental goals.
  • Prepare presentation materials in Japanese for potential business opportunities, targeting both business partners and the headquarters for decision-making and collaboration.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key Japanese business partners, fostering collaboration and long-term partnerships.
  • Regularly report to the Regional General Manager in Singapore, providing updates on business performance and strategic initiatives.


Requirement:

  • At least 9 years of managerial experience in Japanese Trading Companies or Commodity Trading Companies within Asia.
  • Extensive knowledge, expertise, and a well-established network in the petrochemicals industry across Asia.
  • Strong understanding of business development and investment practices within Japanese Trading Companies.
  • Willingness to undertake frequent business trips (potentially more than once a month, including weekends to communicate directly with customers.
  • High proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) for effective communication with headquarters in Japan and Japanese business partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
