We are an exciting global entertainment company seeking a confident and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join us in our Singapore office. The ideal candidate is resilient, resourceful, hands-on, able to work independently and highly commercial-minded. You have strong interpersonal skills and highly capable of working in a global multi-cultural setting.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing tax advice to business partners to ensure the business processes and transactions to align to global tax strategies and policies
- Dealing with global tax issues including but not limited to tax regulations and practices research, tax solutions provision etc.
- Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, GST/VAT and withholding tax for NEON’s entities
- Handling overall tax matters and tax related accounting matters to ensure the tax compliance of the company and reduce potential tax risk
- Support NEON’s global tax planning and strategy function by identifying, recommending, and implementing tax planning opportunities in the region.
- Keeping up-to-date with the changes in tax regulation and industry trends, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications
- Coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities
- Manage the company’s tax database as well as routine Transfer Pricing Documentation
- Lead the TP review with Corporate
- Perform tax and deferred tax provision calculations and reconciliation for financial statements
- Support application of tax residency certificates and administration of tax forms required by overseas firms
- Maintain relationship with tax authorities/related government departments
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in Big 4
- CPA certification preferred
- Robust tax technical knowledge, having more than just corporate tax knowledge (e.g., transfer pricing, GST/VAT, withholding tax, tax planning and etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, whether independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- Attention to detail and accuracy
