Job Description
Augmented Human Lab, at the Smart Systems Institute, National University of Singapore is seeking a Research Assistant with expertise in Machine Learning and Human Computer Interaction.
As a Research Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our research initiatives by developing robust and scalable software solutions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and scientists to implement, optimize, and maintain AiSee applications that aimed to help people with visual impairments.

Major Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive user research to understand user needs, and market demands.
- Analyse competitor products, business models, and market positioning to identify gaps, threats, and opportunities.
- Gather insights into target customer segments and identify potential opportunities for AiSee
- Connect with external partners and stakeholders to field test AiSee.
- Collaborate with the internal teams (Software, Hardware, AI, etc) to define the AiSee roadmap and align product features with business objectives.
- Help prioritize product features and ensure that they address critical user needs and opportunities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and data analyses for internal and external meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Good understanding product development workflows.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in following areas:
- User study design for Human Computer interaction projects
- Experience with wearable devices
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods
- In addition the candidate should be a team player and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
