Responsibilities
· install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
· monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
· Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
· Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
· Setting up accounts for new users
· Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
· troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
· provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
· Assist in the administration of a Microsoft Windows environment
Requirements
· Possess Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science with relevant working experienced.
· Proficient in Desktop Support working experience
· Strong experience in Microsoft Windows environments
· Some experience in Linux Server supportand network device management
· Knowledge in networking protocol (DNS, DHCP, VLAN & Routing)
· Knowledge in IT security, Windows Active Directory, Linux, virtualisation (Hyper-V) and network devices (Access Point, Switch and Router)
