About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team addressing critical issues in advancing sketch prototype concept creation using Large Multimodal Models (LMMs). This role involves contributing to a groundbreaking project aimed at developing and studying novel means of interaction with state of the art LMMs that the research team will develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, refine, and deploy our sketching application
- Collect and analyse data from the prototype
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate LMMs into the sketching application.
- Help conduct empirical research, including designing studies, recruiting participants, and managing experimental data.
- Contribute to the design and development of interaction techniques for novel human-AI interactions.
- Support the team in writing research proposals, progress reports, and academic papers.
- Engage actively with project stakeholders to facilitate the adoption and implementation of research findings.
Qualifications, Skills, Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in rapid prototyping and human-AI interaction, particularly in LMMs.
- Experience in research methods, statistical analysis, AI and LMMs.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
