Responsibilities:
• To procure materials or tools raised in the Material Requisition (MR) Form.
• Source quotation for products feedback to the Contracts Department for evaluation and approval (if required).
• Keep record of all materials purchased for all projects in terms of supplier, quantities, rate & etc.
• Assist in budgetary & cost control.
• Review all delivery Orders from site.
• Maintain plant and machinery rental list and repair record.
• Tracking of diesel consumption for all projects.
• Maintain and update Company's preferred list of suppliers & sub-contractors.
• Monitor and assist in Asset/Inventory management.
• Evaluate and maintain approved list of suppliers.
• Obtain MSDS for chemical procured and submit to WSHO for updating.
• Obtain Green Mark Certificate for Green Mark Material from suppliers
• Any duties to be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• Nitec / Diploma in Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering
• 2 to 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in construction firm preferred
• Candidate without relevant procurement experience but have a keen interest to learn are encouraged to apply
• Positive work attitude and high level of integrity is essential
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
