General Manager, Multi-Sport Academy

As the General Manager of the Multi-Sport Academy, you will oversee the management and holistic development of student-athletes who are given the opportunities to acquire and strengthen sport-relevant complex movement skills to maximise their sporting potential as they explore and pursue a suitable high-performance sport pathway.
You will work closely with coaches, the National Youth Sport Institute (NYSI) and the various National Sport Associations (NSAs) to design and manage a multi-year programme that profiles and nurtures student-athletes to optimise their talent. You will manage student-athletes’ data and provide insights to guide talent identification, recruitment and athlete development strategies.
You will also be championing the holistic development of student-athletes and provide athlete-life mentoring. You will develop and review action plans and initiatives aligned with the academy’s mission, vision and priorities, managing resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements
· At least 3 years of experience in sports administration or working with youth athletes
· Passion in sports, and have interest and experience in playing or managing multiple sports
· Commitment to values inculcation and character development in youth athletes
· Good communication, writing and organisational skills
· Strong leadership, collaborative and networking skills in working with colleagues and building strong partnerships with key stakeholders and partners
· Degree or relevant professional qualification in Sports Management, Sports Science or Physical Education is preferred, including relevant professional experience in related sports
· A good understanding of Singapore's education system is preferred.
