About The Role
1. Casework Counselling
Maintain a reasonable caseload and provide clinical supervision for at least 1 social work practitioners
Identify and assess the needs of the clients after which, plan and implement appropriate intervention plans with them
Support the agency casework system including administration, intake, referral, evaluation and closure of cases
Ensuring that KPIs set by MSF are met
2. Information Referral IR
Provide appropriate information and referral services to people who are referred or contacted our Centre for services
Support the Centre IR standard operating system of administration, intake, appropriate referral, outcome follow-up and closure of IRNetwork and outreach to the residents and relevant partners in our Community to identify and explore needs of our Community.
3. Mandated Programmes
Undertake to implement mandated programmes according to MSF guidelines and ensuring that the programmes meet KPIs set
Work as a team player evaluating the mandated programmes in meeting the needs of the clients
4. Social Work Programme Development in Groupwork and Community Work
Lead in the planning, co-ordination, monitoring and review the Groupwork and Community Work programmes and explore needs of the families in our Community.Liaise and work with organisations and partners to facilitate more effective work with residents in our CommunitySupervise staff in programme development and implementation
Assist in the Centre outreach to partners and SSAs within the service boundary
5. Undertake any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the supervisor and Centre Director.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Competencies:
Bilingual; fluent in spoken and written English; ability to present and write well, able to work with data system and technology; good analytical and assessment skills; interpersonal skills.
Core Competencies:
Min 5-7 years experience; Knowledge and ability to: Engage, assess psycho-social and emotional needs as well as provide intervention for individuals, couples and families in a counselling setting. Apply counselling theories and techniques in intervention.
Preferred achievements / characteristics:
Relevant experiences in counselling.
