Tooling Engineer (Up to $4000 / Woodlands)

Job Title: Tooling Engineer (ID4607)
Location: : Woodlands
Working Hours: Mon – Fri 8.15am – 5.10pm, Alternate Sat 8.15am-12.45pm
Salary: $3500-$4000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure Meeting all IATF16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.
2. Develop and improve Tooling/Molds for new and existing products.
3. Monitor and improve production output and yield of the new/existing Tooling/Molds.
4. Improve product quality and manufacturing capabilities of the new/existing products.
5. Devise action plan to address customer feedbacks/complaints, thus implementing Tooling/Molds improvements on new/existing products, and keep track till it meets customer's requirements.
6. Participate and implement cost improvement initiatives.
7. Conduct process-mapping, data collection, analyze data, makes inference, implement & track.
8. Provide daily production support to the Molding Operation.
9. Provide timely reporting to the Head of Department pertaining to work activities, progress and results.

OTHER DUTIES:
1. Participate in a Special Task Force as and when the needs arise.
2. Participate in Committee, for example, Safety Committee, Environment Committee, etc
3. Participate in Industries 4.0 digitalization.
4 Must have SOLIDWORKS experience.
