Job Capsule
Act as Charterer representative and provide overall project supervision and design review of Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) documentation issued by shipowner and shipyard. Support Onshore Connecting Infrastructure (OCI) Front End Engineering Design (FEED) with focuses on the interface with the FSRU. Relocate to Korea as the Charterer site team and continue to review documents and follow up on the building process with the shipowner site team, focusing on QAQC, HSSE, and Schedule. Attend the required FATs with support from Charterer according to the plan issued by the shipyard and the owner. When the FSRU is completed, relocate to Singapore to support the installation and commissioning of the FSRU.
Job Duties/Roles
- Be part of the Project Management Team and report to the Charterer Project Manager on the day-to-day activities
- Responsible for the technical quality, content, consistency, continuity and timeliness of action of all work assigned.
- Overall project supervision by ensuring the design standards and quality of the FSRU are met as per contractual specification.
- Electrical, instrumentation, Automation System, Bridge Equipment and other related systems.
- Follow up and review all relevant FSRU engineering, design, and interface with the OCI and the FSRU building progress include inspections, testing, verification etc.
Deliverables
- Maintain a Document control log to track the documents received and delivered
- Review test and inspection reports.
- Keep comments and maintain a Decision and Comments log.
- Issue Weekly (Day to day issue) & Monthly reports (progress reporting and HSSE).
- Review and develop Commission Plan with the other discipline engineers, owner, and OCI EPC.
- Participate in meetings as required, with the Team, owner, Shipowner, Shipyard and OCI EPC
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
- Must possess Electro-technical Officer (ETO) LNG or similar.
- Must possess experience with shipbuilding or shipyard.
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of related technical disciplines.
- Must possess knowledge of applicable Rules and Regulations and the impact of Rule applications and interpretations.
- Must possess knowledge of classification, certification, statutory framework, and marine business
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Minimum years of Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in LNG and FSRU
- Advantage if having experience of shore power supply to marine systems.
Required/Preferred Education Requirements
B.S. degree in Marine or Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines
