NUS OAR

The NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) fosters a lifelong relationship between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and its alumni. It provides a platform for alumni to stay connected with the University and each other through various programmes, events, and networking opportunities. OAR supports alumni in their personal and professional development, encouraging their involvement in university initiatives and community service. By promoting a vibrant and engaged alumni network in Singapore and globally, OAR aims to strengthen the NUS community, enhance its reputation, and contribute to the university's mission of excellence in education, research, and service to society.

Job Description

• Work with the Chief Alumni Officer and Deputy Director (China Alumni), to engage alumni in China
• Curate and organise alumni events, activities and networking opportunities in Chongqing and other key cities in China
• Work with alumni leaders to engage alumni through regular activities
• Establish a calendar of alumni events and activities in Chongqing and other key cities in China
• Collaborate with colleagues on alumni-related projects
• Manage administrative and budgetary matters relating to alumni activities in Chongqing and other key cities
• Staff NUS senior leaders at alumni events and alumni-related activities in Chongqing and other key cities, when required
• Draft speeches for NUS senior leaders speaking at alumni and alumni-related events, when required

Qualifications

• A recognised degree with at least 10 years of proven track record in partnership or alumni engagement
• A self-starter who is creative, resourceful and good with people
• Native Chinese speaker, bilingual in Chinese and English to engage alumni in China. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Excellent project management skills, meticulous and attentive to details
• Hands-on, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
