Roles & Responsibilities
The Senior Quantity Surveyor is required handles for all cost and contractual issues on Main contract as well as Sub-contracts connected to the project.
View of Summary:
1. Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to sub-contractors/main contractor.
2. Managing and handing of project budget & cost control.
3. Coordinator and establish report with consultants, quantity. surveyors, architects, developers, and contractors on certification of claims for payment.
4. Handle/Knowledge Familiar with various stages of projects to source for the most compatible and reasonable priced materials. Able to share new perspectives on cost, orders, and claims.
5. Key Knowledge of understanding of the contractual legal rights, the candidate will be involved in advising the management on their position of the contract from the tender stage.
6.The Candidate Reifiable project’s bottom line by projecting the right cost for tenders and timely claims for the project.
7. Maintain and Build a good relationship with Client, & subcontractors/maincontractors of the Project QS to ensure that the project is smooth and met the project timeline.
8. Chase the Claims and cheque for project and submit the claims on time.
9. Knowledge in Aluminum and Steel, and Structure Steel, and Metal Work, and Related in Construction Industry.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
1. Bachelor Degree Holder Above/in Quantity Surveying, Building and Construction & Civil Engineering Filed Related.
2. Minimum 5-10 years working experience.
3. Candidates with knowledge in Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract, REDAS, FIDIC, FIDIC Short Form of Contracts will be an added advantage.
4. Civil Engineering Background.
Technical Competencies
1.Key knowledge of materials and Job Site usage.
2.Knowledge in in Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract, FIDIC, FIDIC Short Form of Contracts.
3. Site Suprvisor Techinal Terms Construction Knowledge.
