Job Description: Chief BMS Expert
Durapower Group take pride as a Singapore enterprise specialises in the design, manufacturing, and integration of lithium battery systems for automotive and energy storage systems
This role will develop BMS for Durapower.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Requirements analysis, develop software requirements, software specification and design, system level and software level test cases, unit test and software component testing, following V model
- Experience with designing and troubleshooting BMS core algorithm, battery state control, comm interfaces with VCU, Battery States Estimation (SOX) strategy, Cell Balancing strategy, Thermal Control, Diagnosis and Monitoring.
- AUTOSAR SW Configuration and integration of BSW, MCAL, Complex Driver CDD, Flash, Bootloader, OS, Bootloader Software and Software Flashing
- Develop safety software components from safety software requirements according to ISO26262 ASIL C, deriving receiving technical safety concept inputs (part 4, part 5 and part 6) and HARA, following AUTOSAR architecture
- Capable for developing and performing Test Plan, Test Specification, Test Cases and Test Report for Components, System and Vehicle Level to fulfil system and software requirement analysis. Design Product Validation (DVP). Embedded Software Test.
- Experience in Hardware-In-The-Loop (HiL), PowerHiL, Dynometer, LabCar or similar system. Experience in Blackbox, Greybox and Whitebox testing.
- Experience in calibration process and toolchain e.g., INCA, CANoe, CANDela, Flashing Tools etc.
- Test and calibration support to EDS and Vehicle team to support software and production release
- Maintaining whole software process, in all phases of the system and software development lifecycle, experience with requirements management, traceability process. Experience performing software quality assurance.
- To build, lead and excel the Battery Management System (BMS) team.
- Reporting to Director of Engineering, R&D
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or all equivalent degree are accepted
- Up to 8 years of relevant working experience is required, especially with major automotive OEM or Tier 1.
- Working Experience in automotive electric vehicle BMS, software industry, electronic industry, software experience or equivalent
- Experience with embedded microcontroller (e.g. Infineon, ADI etc)
- Good process understanding about Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 and Cybersecurity ISO/SAE 21434 and V-Model
- AUTOSAR experience is bonus
- Work location based in SG, willing to travel on demand basis.
