Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with business users to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Work independently to deliver assigned tasks.
- Perform data mapping from the source system to the core Data Warehouse using Teradata Financial Services Logical Data Model (FSLDM).
- Prepare ETL specifications, including mapping documents, transformation rules, validation criteria, and other essential information for ETL layer development.
- Collaborate with the modeling team to align data with the business and enterprise data models.
- Mentor team members and assist in development activities.
- Engage in testing and production deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with Teradata and Control-M.
Essential Requirements:
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in SQL Server application development.
- Proficiency in Unix and shell scripting.
- Experience with Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad) and FSLDM.
- Skilled in composing DDL, DML, complex SQLs, joins, and views based on functional requirements, including performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Control-M Scheduling Tool.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to create technical mapping documents.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) defect resolution.
- Strong SQL skills with proven performance tuning expertise.
Good to Have:
- Previous experience with similar banking use cases is highly desirable.
Technical/Professional Skills:
- Expertise in Teradata FSLDM and Control-M.
