About the Job
- Facilitate regional innovation by collaborating with R&D department, as well as providing technical support and consultancy to the SEA region.
- Product development, Technology Insights, Product Pipelines.
- Oversee the optimization of existing lubricant formulations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet evolving industry standards.
- Supervise experimental research, product testing, and validation in laboratory.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop testing protocols and quality control processes.
- Participate in customer visits, presentations, and industry conferences to represent the company’s technical capabilities.
- Contribute to budget management and resource allocations to achieve both short- and long-term goals, including capital expenditures to enhance the company’s technical capabilities.

Qualifications
- Professional experience 10+ years, within the chemical or lubricants industry, with at least 3 years in managerial role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field required. A Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of lubricant formulations, testing methods, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and environmental standards related to processing lubricants.
- Knowledge of chemistry, raw materials, surfactants, and dispersion technologies.
- Experience in product development and product modifications is preferred.
