Generations Asset Management (SG) Pte Ltd is an MFO pending MAS license approval. We are seeking a motivated Chief Operations Officer (COO) in wealth management to join our team. COO plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational aspects of a wealth management firm.


Job Summary:

The COO is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the wealth management division. This role involves optimizing processes, enhancing client service, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency to support the firm’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the strategic vision for the wealth management division.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the firm’s goals.
  2. Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all functions.
    • Implement best practices in wealth management operations, including portfolio management, client services, and risk management.
  3. Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
    • Manage staffing, training, and development to enhance operational capabilities.
  4. Client Experience:
    • Ensure exceptional client service through effective operational processes and support.
    • Monitor client satisfaction and implement enhancements as needed.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the firm and its clients.
  6. Technology and Innovation:
    • Oversee the integration of technology solutions to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance operational capabilities.
  7. Performance Metrics:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.
    • Analyze operational data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  8. Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
    • Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in operations management within the wealth management or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
