Account Executive (IT Business Solution)

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers and prospect.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and prospects to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
  • Prepare and provide sales quotations to customers.
  • Negotiating contracts, the terms of an agreement and close sales.
  • Establish sales objectives through effective forecasting.
  • Providing support, information, and guidance to customers.
  • Set sales forecast, reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Interfacing with vendors / suppliers and building up relationships.
  • Team player and able to work under fast-paced environment.
  • Assisting in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales manager, including strategies for encouraging repeat business and up-selling.
  • Collaborate with internal, including technical support and product development to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Up-keep of customers and partners/supplier’s database – updating where necessary.
  • Record the progress of all enquiries and translate into a monthly report as directed by the respective sales manager.
  • Ensure all customers are handled in customer-oriented manner.

Requirements:

  • Possess strong technical expertise in the IT industry, including its products and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Confident and driven sales approach, with the ability to work independently and thrive in competitive markets.
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and detail-oriented, consistently aiming to meet and exceed goals.
  • Organized and efficient in time management, with a customer-focused mindset and a positive, reassuring attitude.
  • Practical, responsive, and resourceful, demonstrating high energy and persistence in completing tasks.
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent telephone and face-to-face communication abilities are essential.
