About the Job
Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team overseeing financial operations, reporting, internal controls, and treasury functions across the APAC region. Your responsibilities include managing accounting policies, preparing consolidated financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will collaborate with financial planning teams to analyze reports and provide strategic insights to management. In addition, you will establish robust internal controls, coordinate audits, and enhance financial systems to drive efficiency. Leading the cash management function, you will optimize cash flow and implement best practices. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, embrace challenges, and be both strategic and hands-on, while also mentoring team members to support their professional development as the company prepares for future growth and potential IPO.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate should possess a recognized degree in accounting and relevant certifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA, along with a minimum of 15 years of experience, preferably in the technology, fintech, or eCommerce sectors. Experience with US IPOs and US GAAP is highly desirable.
