The role of the FM Executive is to assist the FM Manager (Soft Services) on matters relating to the facility soft services within the DC. He/She shall lead a team of technical associates, technical assistants, outsourced security officers and housekeepers to ensure the smooth operations of day-to-day building's operations. He/She shall provide solutions to preventive and corrective maintenance of building facilities. He/She may be cross-deployed to support other DCs/warehouses whenever needed. As a FM Executive, he/she shall always be on standby 24/7, ready to respond to crisis and emergency.

Responsibilities

  • Project management, work order management, purchasing & vendor contract management
  • Manage Security, Fire Safety and Housekeeping. To provide a safe, secured and clean environment conducive for the receiving, distribution and storage of goods and property and for work.
  • On duty at all times to meet with fire and security matters and to extend investigation if detect non-compliance of security and fire safety rules and regulation.
  • Support and assistance to duty personnel when required.
  • Oversee the building authority compliance
  • Oversee office renovation and fit out works
  • In charge of the Fire Command Centre and maintain the Fire Control and equipment are in good condition.
  • To be appointed as Fire safety manager (FSM) to carry out fire table top, fire evacuation and fire inspection of the assigned facility. Perform the the FSM as according to the Singapore regulation.
  • Security & Fire Safety Management which includes safe management measures, terrorism, pilferage prevention, fire drills, table-top and ground deployment exercise, authority audits and checks
  • Assist too source and compare the supplier quotation. Seek management for approval.
  • Backup the supervisor when absence. Arrange manpower to cover the duties.
  • Landscape, Housekeeping and pest control management
  • Waste management & last inspection chamber
  • Building signages, markings and paintings
  • Any other duties assigned by the RO

  • Work location: 7 Sunview Road
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.15am to 5.35pm

Requirements

  • Diploma in Engineering discipline with 5 years’ working experience in a facilities management or Degree in Engineering discipline
  • Able to lead, train, motivate a group of technicians & supervisors
  • Strong ability to be a team player and drive team collaboration
  • Resourceful to overcome difficulties and resolve problems and provide various options
