Job Description
Every word we write matters. From what’s in the Trust app, to Trust website, to digital ads, to flyers, to error messages, to customer emails, to internal policies, to… you get the idea.
The Content Writer isn’t responsible for writing every word though – you’re here to level up Trust’s writing overall. We have a well-established tone of voice, and people here really care about making sure all our writing is consistently good and works hard for customers. It’ll be your job to keep that quality up through the writing you do. But you’ll also be a champion for great writing by proving the difference it makes and helping other people to improve their own writing skills.
The Role Responsibility:
User Experience & Design
· Support product designers, product managers, engineers and stakeholders to understand business objectives, needs, and constraints, while creating thoughtful solutions with impact.
· Apply a customer-centric UX writing and content strategy perspective to enhance App designs and every customer’s touchpoint while maintaining consistency in tone-of-voice and presentation.
· Craft simple, useful, and engaging content for better user experience through clear information structure, meaningful copy, unambiguous terminology and concise language.
· Manage multiple concurrent initiatives or assignments, provide solutions in timely manner to the working teams.
· Help maintain and enforce content and writing guidelines across the organization.
Brand Management & Product Marketing
· Refresh Trust brand CI (focusing on brand character and tone of voice) and provide on-going support on guiding our various stakeholders on branding.
· Support product marketing campaigns, lead content writing for all key campaigns by collaborating with product, marketing, growth and other working team. Ensure each campaign resonates with target audience as well as on-brand.
· Support developing partnership comms (e.g. EDM, flyers, digital assets) for new and on-going external (e.g. KFC, Starbucks) and ecosystem (FPG group, NE) partners.

Our Ideal Candidate:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in advertising, marketing, communication, design or a related field.
· 10+ years of professional experience writing and designing content for app and web products, and applying style, tone and voice guidelines to your writing.
· A strong work ethic, an open mind, attention to detail and consistency, and a very sharp eye for typos.
· Native level spoken and written English competence, with strong communication skills.
· Ability to present and defend content and design choices in the context of product strategy, business objective and user insights.
· Ability to think logically, and to imagine copy and content as part of a system.
· Committed to meeting deadlines and ability to maintain a high standard of work while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Good to have (Optional):
· Experience with writing and designing financial products.
