Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of materials, make up solutions and assemble apparatus;
• Set-up equipments in labs for Science Practical lessons and assessments;
• Able to trial and troubleshoot practical activities;
• Support students’ STEM learning by collaborating with teachers to plan, organise learning experiences/journeys and supporting their investigative projects;
• Manage and maintain inventory of laboratories supplies through regular stock-takes, routine calibration, and replacement of worn items/equipments;
• Collaborate with external partners for asset management and routine checks in the laboratories; and
• Assist in budget planning by providing relevant information and support finance operations.
Requirements:
• Relevant certificate/diploma in a Science or Technology discipline, or equivalent qualifications;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel) and adept with using systems;
• Familiarity with implementation of laboratory safety requirements and able to undertake risk assessments;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Meticulous with good planning and organising skills;
• Able to work independently and in a team;
• Relevant working experience in a school laboratory environment would be an advantage.
